• Plan your abstract carefully before writing it. A good abstract will address the following questions:
o What is the question or problem? give us context!
o What is your hypothesis?
o What is your evidence? Present your data and primary source material!
o Why does it matter? Describe the important contribution of your paper to the field of Sensory Integration!
• Write concisely. Abstracts for ISIC 2026 have a 250 word limit plus 3 literature references. This requires you to write only what is necessary, avoiding wordiness. Be as specific as possible.
• Revise and edit your abstract to ensure that your submission is error free. During the editing phase, also chip away at unnecessary words or phrases. Your submission should be linear and clear and read smoothly. Your language should be professional and your style should adhere to academic standards.
• Reference literature according to APA style.
